Not sure if I should be siting TMZ but they are usually pretty good on this kinda stuff. The online magazine is reporting that Lil Wayne, his tour bus, and 11 members of his entourage are being detained at an interior border patrol checkpoint, in Falfurrias Texas. The Checkpoint is reportedly about a 100 miles from the Mexico border. Although no arrests have been reported, they are being held. On Lil Wayne’s official site, they are siting “weed” as a factor.
What a nightmare! Border patrol check points along the South West portion of the country are totally brutal. I can only imagine what they are putting Weezy’s bus through… I know they usually board buses and give them a pretty good look over. Not to mention the profiling that goes on down there… Ether way it sounds like a complete waste of resources and time. Harassing citizens instead of catching the cartel members… Stay up Weezy!
